i `ve got a question:do you eat carbs?i mean there was a time when i was thinner than I`m now,but I always ate carbs...now i want to lose some weight again and read that you loose more weight without them.the problem is that I`m a dancer and I simply need a certain amount of energy if I dont want to collapse during dance lessons.I simply dont know what to do!On the one hand I want to get some of my weight of but on the other side I start to think that my body needs food...oh my god;)

Low carbs...ugh

You do need enough carbs to live and function...the problem is that most people eat too many carbs and the wrong kinds ( like white, processed carbs-white bread, white pasta, white rice, you get the idea) . You will lose weight if you cut out carbs, but you will also have NO energy and be tired all the time. You send your body into ketosis, and you can do damage to your kidneys when they have to process extra protein(which is what low-carb diets usually tell you to eat instead). You should be getting 40 % of your calories from carbs, just choose good ones, and keep them portioned. Have 1 serving of brown rice w/ lots of veggies; Just basically stay away from everything processed-try to eat food close to it's natural form, like veggies, fruit, whole wheat products.
Also- I'm going to send you an invitation-I'm trying to restart our group at bluebirds_fly , and I could use some help bc it seems like most of the usual posters are gone!
